University of Otago offers the following scholarships for international students, for pathway, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes again in 2022.
Otago International Pathway Scholarship
For international students enrolling in the University of Otago Pathway programme (Foundation Studies Certificate), on-campus or online from outside of New Zealand in 2021 and 2022.
Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships for International Students
NZ$10,000 tuition fee credit and accommodation guarantee.
For international undergraduate students at the University of Otago, living in New Zealand, or studying online or by distance from outside of New Zealand.
Remember to apply for other University of Otago Entrance Scholarships – up the value of NZ$30,000. Applications for these scholarships are open between 1 July – 15 August 2021.
Otago International Excellence Scholarship:
NZ$10,000 tuition fee credit.
For international students commencing a master’s degree (coursework or research), honours degree, or postgraduate diploma at the University of Otago, living in New Zealand, or studying online (subject to programme availability).
Doctoral Scholarships for Offshore International Candidates:
Tuition fees only, for commencement of doctoral studies offshore.
University announces that fees-only doctoral scholarships are now available to support international students to commence their studies remotely. Stipends will commence upon arrival in New Zealand.
