Opportunities for international students include flexible study-abroad programmes as well as full three-year undergraduate and one-year postgraduate degree courses in the academic areas of the arts, law and social sciences, business, education, health and social care and science and technology

The University is proud of the quality of the teaching it offers which is reflected in its success in the Guardian University Guide league table. In 2006 we were ranked in the top twenty in the UK for a number of subjects, including English, Art and Design, Philosophy and Architecture.
