Wintec has about 15,000 full- and part-time students studying a wide range of programmes, from Information Technology to welding. We have over 150 programmes to choose from, and offer six degrees: Media Arts, Nursing, Midwifery, Business Studies, Sport and Exercise Science, and Information Technology.

We have three main campuses - the city site, the Avalon campus, and the Horticulture Education Center - as well as satellite operations in Te Kuiti, Thames, and Auckland. We also have a horticulture programme in Wellington.

Accommodation and facilities

As an education provider to the international market, we strive to provide services that make overseas students feel comfortable in their new surroundings. Students will be picked up from the airport upon their arrival free of charge, and taken to their accommodation. We provide free accommodation and home stay placement and support is provided for all International students. Facilities include an International common room where students can meet people from their own, and other countries. A prayer room is also provided.

General Information

For qualifications of one year or longer, the fees quoted are for one year of full-time study only. If students do more than a full-time programme on one year, the fees will be adjusted. Wintec reserves the right to adjust fees for future years.

NB: All fees include GST (tax), registration and enrolment, counseling, language support, airport pick-up and the use of most campus facilities. Wintec will endeavor to maintain these fees but reserves the right to adjust them when necessary.
