Bradford is one of the ten largest cities in Britain - with a population of over 450,000. It has excellent road, rail and air communications with the rest of the country, and is set amongst some of the most spectacular countryside in England. The city of Bradford was recently rated by The Guardian newspaper as being the least expensive city for students to live in the UK.

One of the city’s most popular attractions is the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, situated close to the University campus, incorporating the 52ft-deep and 64ft-wide IMAX screen. The museum has a regular programme of exhibitions as well as permanent galleries, where the public can explore the history of photography and television.
